Retail net sales for the twelve months ended December 31, 2023 increased due to strong growth in our direct-to-consumer e-commerce business. We have enhanced our targeted marketing efforts, primarily through digital marketing, allowing us to increase brand awareness and engage more directly with consumers, which led to increased traffic on our branded websites throughout the year.

As of December 31, 2023 we held $4.5 million in cash and cash equivalents and our total indebtedness stood at $173.1 million, a reduction of $84.6 million or 32.6% when compared to December 31, 2022. As of December 31, 2024, cash and cash equivalents were approximately $3.7 million and our total indebtedness, net of debt issuance costs, was approximately $128.7 million, a reduction of $44.4 million, or 25.7%, over our indebtedness at December 31, 2023. The decrease in inventory during the year ended December 31, 2023 compared to the prior period was due to a concentrated effort to optimize inventory levels in 2023 through increased promotions aimed at selling discontinued inventory, lower production and purchasing.
