LIQUIDITY AND CAPITAL RESOURCES We completed the following activities during the reporting period (for additional information, see Notes 4, 5, 6, 16 and 20 within “Notes to Consolidated Financial Statements” in Item 8 of this report) impacting our liquidity and capital resources: Fiscal 2022 entered into a second amendment to our Credit Agreement to, among other provisions, facilitate the BellRing Spin-off and to, among other things, change the reference interest rate applicable to revolving loan borrowings in U.S.

Segment profit increased $198.5 million, or 131%, for the year ended September 30, 2023, when compared to the prior year, driven by higher net sales, as previously discussed, lower freight costs of $31.7 million and lapping a provision for legal settlement and related legal fees of $18.2 million in the prior year.
