Financing Activities: The increase in net cash used for financing activities was attributable to decreased net borrowings under debt arrangements. Net repayments totaled $158.2 million in 2023 compared to $257.7 million of net borrowings in 2022. The notes bear interest at a rate of 6.950% per year, with interest payable semi-annually in arrears in March and September of each year. The notes mature in March of 2029. The indenture governing the senior notes is subject to customary covenants and make-whole provisions upon early termination.
We received approximately $492 million in net proceeds from the notes offering after deducting the underwriting discount and other fees and expenses. The notes bear interest at a rate of 6.95% per year, with interest payable semi-annually in arrears in March and September of each year. The notes mature in March of 2029.
